Badri Srinivas has over 40 years of experience in the general insurance industry – in Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Reinsurance and Marketing - working both in India and the Middle East.

He began his career as a direct recruit officer in one of the public sector companies in India and moved to private sector when the Market opened up in the year 2000. His last assignment in India was as General Manager – Technical for Western Region for RSA’s India operation before moving to Middle East Market.

He had a short stint with the Insurance Regulator of Saudi Arabia, SAMA in training and development before venturing into the UAE Market wherein he has close to 20 years of experience specialising in both Reinsurance (Treaty and Facultative placements) and Commercial Underwriting.

His last assignment prior to moving to Advantage Re was as Head of Reinsurance and Commercial Lines Vertical in one of the leading UAE based insurance companies.
